If you are looking for a family oriented weekend, or a place to get away by yourselves, then you have come to the right place!!!

Cowskin Canoe  rental and Campground has what you are looking for! We are open for canoeing year round, providing you call ahead!  The campground will close as cold weather approaches, and the threat of freezing pipes is on us!

We offer a campground just feet from the river where kids can enjoy the water! There is plenty of tent camping and RV pads with full electricity, water and an on site dump station!

Our campsites have a fire pit, but you are welcome to bring your BBQ grills and whatever else you would like to accomodate your outing!

Fishing on the Elk river is awesome! We had a fisherman several years ago who caught a hybrid bass weighing 15 pounds, just 3 miles up river! He won the angler of the year award!!  Here at Cowskins!!

We have fisherman come from all over to float and fish this end of the river- Bass, catfish, brownies,goggle eyes, Largemouth, and  Small mouth Bass, ... The Fishing here is awesome,and because we are the only outfitter to float the lower end of elk river, your fishing experience is exceptional! 

The same with canoeing! If you like canoeing and not having to share the river closely with others,you will love Cowskins-

We offer a 10 mile and a 3 mile float trip- each with beautiful scenery and a place to stop along the way ... Have lunch, take  a swim, and relax if you would like! 

Some like to do an overnight float trip! We offer an overnight float from our 10 mile, where you can camp along river, take your time fishing, cooking, swimming, whatever! We also have a 16 mile float , but you will have to cross the dam!!!    Or you can also do an overnight from the 3 mile float!!!  We are 3 miles to the Oklahoma waters of Grand Lake- This is also an exceptional place to float!   We do offer a down river float providing you know the River!  Just contact us!!This does require an Oklahoma fishing license...

AS YET, WE DO NOT SELL FISHING LICENSE! YOUR BEST BET WOULD BE TO PURCHASE THESE AT WALMART, OR WHEREVER YOU PREFER- A MISSOURI FISHING LICENSE IS REQUIRED ON THE RIVER, AND IF YOU WILL BE FLOATING DOWN RIVER, IT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA TO PURCHASE AN OKLAHOMA LICENSE-
